Jonathan Isaac (left knee sprain) will remain unavailable for Orlando ahead of win-or-go-home Play-In bout vs. Charlotte.
The Orlando Magic are set to face a do-or-die situation heading to Friday’s Play-In Tournament game against the Charlotte Hornets.
As such, they will attempt to save their season and secure the final spot of the Eastern Conference Playoffs without Jonathan Isaac again.
Orlando officially announced that Isaac will not play due to his left knee sprain.
The veteran big man hasn’t played any game since March 12, and this certainly served as a brutal blow for the Magic.
Still, despite Isaac’s absence, the Magic remain fortunate to have a good frontcourt depth from Paolo Banchero, Wendell Carter Jr. and Goga Bitadze.
Isaac hasn’t relatively played that much this 2025-26 season, but he embraced being a key locker room presence for Orlando. In 51 appearances, he averaged 2.6 points and 2.5 rebounds in 10 minutes.
