After four Huskies were taken in last week’s 2024 NBA Draft, the new draftees are settling into their professional lives.

Stephon Castle, the No. 4 overall pick by the San Antonio Spurs, will be keeping his jersey number the same as his one year in Storrs. He’ll be wearing No. 5 for San Antonio next season as he teams up with NBA superstar Victor Wembayama.

Donovan Clingan, the No. 7 pick by the Portland Trail Blazers, was the last active Husky to wear No. 32 after the school retired Richard Hamilton’s number this season. With No. 32 retired for the late Hall of Famer Bill Walton, Clingan is switching up and rocking No. 23 for Portland this coming season.

Tristen Newton and Cam Spencer were the last two Huskies taken in this year’s draft and were both selected in the second round. Newton will wear No. 4 for the Indiana Pacers, while Spencer will wear No. 24 for the Memphis Grizzlies.
