The Utah Jazz are once again hosting Salt Lake City Summer League, giving fans an early chance to see incoming rookies and up-and-coming talent.

This year the Jazz will be joined on July 4, 6 and 7 in Salt Lake City by the Oklahoma City Thunder, Memphis Grizzlies and Atlanta Hawks.

“A staple of summers in Utah, Salt Lake City Summer League annually offers a unique opportunity to watch some of the NBA’s newest talent make their debut here in our community,” said Jonathan Rinehart, president of Salt Lake City Summer League and the Salt Lake City Stars.

As was the case in the summer of 2025, the Delta Center will again be closed for renovations this summer, so the summer league event, a round-robin tournament, will be held at the Huntsman Center at the University of Utah.

The Salt Lake City showcase serves as a precursor to the NBA Summer League held annually in Las Vegas, which includes all 30 NBA teams. The NBA Summer League in Vegas will be held from July 9-19.

Memphis and OKC have been mainstays of SLC Summer League over the last few years, along with the Philadelphia 76ers, and the San Antonio Spurs. But, Atlanta makes its return to SLC after last participating in SLC Summer League in 2018.

Summer league rosters will be released sometime after the NBA draft (June 23 and 24) and before the Salt Lake City event. The NBA Draft Lottery, which will determine draft order, is on May 10.

A number of high lottery picks and future NBA stars have made their NBA debuts at SLC Summer League, including last year with No. 3 overall pick and Rookie of the Year finalist V.J. Edgecombe and No. 5 overall pick Ace Bailey. As the current (pre-lottery) draft order stands, as many as four lottery picks and seven first-rounders could be participating in Salt Lake City.

Tickets for single games and three-day passes for Salt Lake City Summer League will go on sale next month.
