Former Chicago Bulls coach Billy Donovan lists his Lincoln Park home for $4.5 million just days after stepping down from the team. The 5,200-square-foot house was purchased for $3.5 million in 2021.
Former Chicago Bulls head coach Billy Donovan and his wife, Christine, have listed their Lincoln Park home for $4.5 million, just two days after Donovan stepped down from his position with the team.
The six-bedroom, 5,200-square-foot limestone and masonry house, built by AK Custom Homes, was purchased by the Donovans in January 2021 for $3.5 million. Located in the Ranch Triangle neighborhood, the three-story residence features five full bathrooms, two half-baths, two fireplaces, a custom staircase, an elevator, a gourmet kitchen with Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, and a rooftop deck.
The timing of the listing comes shortly after Donovan announced he was stepping away from the Bulls after six seasons. The veteran coach had an option in his contract for next season, but chose to step down following discussions with team ownership regarding the future of the franchise.
Billy Donovan’s departure and the quick decision to sell the home appear to signal a new chapter for the longtime coach and his family as they move on from Chicago.
