NBA Playoffs: Magic to take on Pistons in Game 4 of Round 1
WE’LL HAVE A LIVE REPORT FOR US COMING UP AT 5:00. IT’S GOING TO BE A LOUD NIGHT AT THE KIA CENTER AS THE MAGIC LOOK TO KEEP THE PLAYOFF MOMENTUM GOING AGAINST THE TOP SEEDED PISTONS. IN QUITE THE SERIES. ORLANDO ALMOST BLEW IT ON SATURDAY, BUT THEY ENDED UP PULLING OUT A WIN TO REGAIN CONTROL OF THE SERIES. TONIGHT, A CHANCE TO GO TWO GAMES UP ON DETROIT RIGHT HERE ON WESH TWO. DAREN STOLZFUS AND KRISTEN LAGO ARE LIVE INSIDE THE KIA CENTER. A LOT ON THE LINE TONIGHT, GUYS. YEAH, CERTAINLY. JESSE AND SANIKA. THIS IS A BIG ONE, CHRIS. NO DOUBT ABOUT IT. THE MAGIC HAVEN’T HAD A TWO ONE SERIES LEAD GOING INTO GAME THREE IN THE PLAYOFFS SINCE, I DON’T KNOW, 16 YEARS AGO. THIS IS A BIG OPPORTUNITY FOR THE ORLANDO MAGIC. ABSOLUTELY. THEY ALREADY HAVE CONTROL OF THE SERIES WITH THE LEAD HERE. BUT TONIGHT THEY HAVE A CHANCE TO REALLY TAKE COMMAND OF THE SERIES. I THINK THE STAT IS OVER 95% OF TEAMS THAT GO UP THREE ONE END UP WINNING THAT SERIES. SO FOR THE MAGIC, THE OPPORTUNITY OF COURSE, WANTING TO GET OUT OF THE FIRST ROUND IS GOING TO BE HUGE TONIGHT. THE NUMBERS CERTAINLY IN THEIR FAVOR, IF THEY CAN GET THE JOB DONE TONIGHT, WE’LL SEE WHAT HAPPENS. THESE ARE TWO TEAMS THAT ARE VERY EVENLY MATCHED. THEY LIKE TO PLAY SIMILAR STYLES OF BASKETBALL. THEY ALSO LIKE TO PLAY PHYSICALLY AND A LOT ON DEFENSE. AND YOU KNOW WHAT. THEY’RE JUST KIND OF GETTING TIRED OF EACH OTHER. THEY’VE PLAYED EACH OTHER QUITE A BIT THIS YEAR AND ONCE YOU GET HERE GAME FOUR, YOU KNOW I THINK THAT’S WHEN BOTH TEAMS START TO GET TIRED OF EACH OTHER. SO THAT LEADS TO, YOU KNOW, MORE PHYSICAL BASKETBALL, PROBABLY MORE THAT THE RESTAURANT WON’T LET GO AWAY. SO HE’S GOT TO BE PREPARED FOR FOR THE FOR THE ATMOSPHERE AND, AND HAVE TO BRING THE RIGHT ENERGY AS A GROUP. SO I THINK EVERYBODY UNDERSTANDS THAT AND KNOWS THAT, YOU KNOW, THERE’S A LOT OF BASKETBALL LEFT TO BE PLAYED. AND DESMOND BANE ALSO ADDED TODAY AT SHOOTAROUND THAT THEY KNOW EXACTLY WHAT IS COMING FOR THEM IN THIS GAME FOR DETROIT. ABSOLUTELY. LOOKING AT THIS AS A MUST WIN JUST TO STAY IN THIS SERIES. OF COURSE THEY ARE THE ONE SEED. I THINK A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE CALLING THEMOR FOR THE WAY THIS SERIES HAS GONE AGAINST THE EIGHTH SEED. BUT AGAIN, ORLANDO NOT LOOKING LIKE A TRADITIONAL EIGHTH SEED, AND YOU CAN’T PUT IT PAST HOW DIFFICULT IT WILL BE TO GO TO DETROIT IF YOU’RE TWO TWO VERSUS HOW NICE IT WOULD BE TO GO FOR GAME FIVE. IF IT’S THREE ONE, WE’LL SEE. COMING UP TONIGHT AT 7:30 P.M. WE WILL GET YOU SET FOR TIP OFF HERE ON WESH TWO, 1038 RIGHT HERE LIVE FROM THE KIA CENTER. GOING TO BE A WHOLE LOT OF FUN. GAME FOU
