Former Penn State forward Hudson Ward is set to join his third team in his collegiate career.
Ward has committed to transfer to Idaho after spending last season with Western Michigan, his agency WEAVE announced Monday. He has two seasons of eligibility remaining.

The Alberta, Canada, native played in 13 games for Western Michigan this past season, averaging 4.5 points and 3.4 rebounds per game. He entered the transfer portal on April 6, following the team’s head coaching change from Dwayne Stephens to Kahil Fennell this offseason.
Ward spent just one season in Happy Valley, tallying five rebounds, one assist and one block across eight appearances in 2024-25. He was a 247Sports composite 4-star in the 2024 class and the program’s seventh-highest rated recruit in history.
