A report over the weekend that the Pelicans are considering Rajon Rondo in their search for their next head coach.
I’m really intrigued by this, Caroline, because the fact that he’s in the conversation, says something interesting, and I think I’ve even seen reports that he has actually interviewed already.
granted, Rajon Rondo has very limited coaching experience.
He was kind of like a guest assistant coach.
It was I, I think that was the unofficial official term that the Bucs used, under Doc Rivers.
Of course, he played for Doc, when he was a Celtics, so many years ago, a champion with those same Celtics teams.

this is a, a guy who was has been known, as a really smart player.
You know, he was known to, to have all kinds of, basketball insights that, that, that when guys typically have that as players, people say, “Oh, they could get into coaching if they want to.”
As much as I love the story, I’m, I’m going nah on this one.
The fan base really respects him, really likes him, what he brought to the team as a player, but he just doesn’t have experience.
Everyone has told me how smart of a basketball mind he is, and I do not deny that in the slightest.
But there is a difference between being, having a really high basketball IQ, you know, kind of coming in as a, as a supplementary piece on the coaching staff, and being the head coach of a franchise that is in the absolute depths of the NBA
