Was this a learning experience for the Atlanta Hawks?
You just kinda build on this?
Do you anticipate we need to flip something to make our roster more balanced?
Like, how do you kind of soak in what this first round experience was for Atlanta?
It’s a learning experience.
They weren’t supposed to be here.
They, they worked their tails to get on in, get into the playoffs.
They worked their tails to win two games in a series.
But they traded Trae Young this season.
They weren’t necessarily supposed to be in this position.
And so a lot of times when you’re learning how to win, yeah, we, we know we need this for our team to prosper.

So it may be having more size, may be having more guard play, may be having more defenders, more defense.
But they built themselves into a position to tr- attempt to have success in the playoffs that was not expected based on the start of the season, based on trading Trae Young.
They were not supposed to be in this position.
We can be completely honest about that, and it’s a salute to Quin Snyder and that roster for working themselves into this spot and having the success they had in the playoffs.
So I don’t necessarily know what the pivot is, but you at least know what we have can work.
So what do we build around Jalen Johnson?

What do we build around Aquile Xzavier Walker?
What do we add to this group to take us over the top?
It– there’s lessons in learning in the playoffs.
The playoffs are always the best teacher.
The question is, are they going to try and, and adjust to what the Knicks did to them, or are they just trying– going to make them, Are they going to try to make themselves as best as they can?
