English soccer legend David Beckham is one of the most popular soccer players of all time. Beckham served as captain for his native England for six seasons and scored 17 goals in 115 games. He also played for Manchester United where he won six Premier League titles, two FA Cups and one UEFA Champions League title. Beckham also played for Real Madrid, AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, as well as MLS’ Los Angeles Galaxy. He is married to former Spice Girls member Victoria Beckham.

Born: May 2, 1990
Philadelphia 76ers star Paul George has earned nine All-Star selections in 16 NBA seasons. George played his first seven seasons with the Indiana Pacers, two with the Oklahoma City Thunder and five with the Los Angeles Clippers before joining the 76ers. He won the Most Improved Player award with the Pacers in 2012-13, when he also earned his first All-Star selection, first All-NBA selection and first All-Defense selection.

NASCAR star driver Kyle Busch ranks ninth all-time in NASCAR history with 63 Cup Series wins, the most among active drivers. Busch won the Cup Series championship in 2015 and 2019. He is also NASCAR’s all-time leader in wins in both the O’Reilly Auto Part Series (102) and Craftsman Truck Series (68). Busch has 233 career victories between NASCAR’s Cup, Auto Part and Truck series.

Jamaal Wilkes, 73
Born: May 2, 1953
UCLA legend Jamaal Wilkes won two NCAA national championships under head coach John Wooden before winning four NBA Finals in 12 seasons from 1974-86. Wilkes was selected by the Golden State Warriors with the No. 11 pick in the 1974 NBA Draft and won the Rookie of the Year award in his debut season. Wilkes won his first NBA Finals with the Warriors in 1975. He won three more NBA Finals with the Los Angeles Lakers, where he played eight seasons from 1977-85. He also played one season for the Los Angeles Clippers. Wilkes, a three-time All-Star, was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2012.

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce posted a career-high 47 receptions and 1,003 receiving yards for the Colts during the 2025 NFL season. Pierce led the NFL in yards per catch in consecutive seasons with 22.3 ypc in 2024 and 21.3 ypc in 2025. He signed a four-year, $116 million contract extension with Indianapolis in March 2026.
