DETROIT, Mich. (WNEM) – On Sunday night, the Detroit Pistons played the Orlando Magic in game seven of the first round of the NBA Playoffs.
After a back-and-forth first quarter and a half, the Pistons gained momentum and pulled away, beating the Magic 116-94. For the first time since 2008, Detroit has won a playoff series and is advancing to the next round.
Cade Cunningham would lead the team with 32 points and 12 assists.
Tobias Harris would also have an impressive night with 30 points and 9 rebounds.
Jalen Duren would add a double-double with 15 points and 15 rebounds.
The Pistons now advance to the Eastern Conference Semifinals, where they’ll meet the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Game one of the series will take place on Tuesday night at 7.
