Steve Kerr, a former NBA champion with the Chicago Bulls and San Antonio Spurs during his playing days, will go down as the greatest head coach in the history of the Golden State Warriors.
With Kerr at the helm, the Warriors established a new modern-day dynasty, winning four NBA titles in 2015, 2017, 2018, and 2022. However, his future with the Warriors is cloudy at best. After missing the postseason, Golden State is weighing its options and could very well lean toward not bringing him back.
While his future is undecided, he was spotted taking in the great American pastime, baseball. He was seen enjoying a recent San Francisco Giants game at Oracle Park in downtown San Francisco, which is not far from Chase Center, the still relatively new home of the Warriors following their move from Oracle Arena in Oakland in 2019.

Following his playing days, Kerr worked as a broadcaster for TNT’s nationally televised games for several years before accepting the general manager position of the Phoenix Suns, eventually returning to his broadcast career. Kerr then became the head coach of the Warriors in 2014.
Not long after the Warriors dropped their Play-In Tournament to the Suns, Kerr seemed to recognize that the writing could be on the wall.
“I still love coaching, but I get it,” Kerr said via The New York Times. “These jobs all have an expiration date. There’s a run that happens, and when the run ends, sometimes it’s time for new blood and new ideas and all that.”
As Warriors head coach, he’s compiled a record of 604-353 in regular-season play, and a postseason record of 104-48.
