Writers Josh Robbins, Sam Amick and Joe Vardon polled the players.

Suns guard Collin Gillespie received two percent of the votes for the NBA’s most underrated player.
Gillespie averaged a career-high 12.7 points in setting a franchise record for most made 3s in a single season at 232.

Scottie Barnes (Toronto Raptors), Cade Cunningham (Detroit Pistons), Kris Dunn (Los Angeles Clippers), Kawhi Leonard (Clippers), Jaden McDaniels (Minnesota Timberwolves) and Donovan Mitchell (Cleveland Cavaliers) also received two percent of the votes.
Atlanta Hawks All-Star Jalen Johnson and Boston Celtics guard Derrick White received the highest percentage of votes at four percent.

A total of 151 votes were tabulated. Eighty-nine players received at least one vote.
Suns All-Star Devin Booker and reserve guard Jamaree Bouyea received 0.7% of the votes for most underrated, as did Milwaukee Bucks forward Thanasis Antetokounmpo.

Suns forward Dillon Brooks landed among the league’s most overrated players despite averaging a career-high 20.2 points in his first year in Phoenix.
Brooks received 2.5% of the votes as did Tyrese Haliburton (Indiana Pacers), Tyler Herro (Miami Heat), Evan Mobley (Cleveland Cavaliers), Brandin Podziemski (Golden State Warriors) and Domantas Sabonis (Sacramento Kings).

Houston Rockets All-Star Alperen Sengun garnished the highest percentage of votes for most overrated at 12.3%.
A total of 81 votes were calculated.

Reigning NBA MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Oklahoma City Thunder, Los Angeles Lakers All-Star LeBron James, the league’s all-time leading scorer, and San Antonio Spurs All-Star Victor Wembanyama were among several players to receive 1.2% of the votes.
The poll made news last season with Haliburton being voted most overrated at 14.4% before he led the Pacers to the 2025 NBA Finals.
Suns coach Jordan Ott finished fifth in poll for most impressive coaches at 6.8% as the players were unable to vote for their own coach.

A total of 146 votes were tabulated.

Joe Mazzulla (Boston Celtics) received the highest percentage of votes at 17.8% followed by Mark Daigneault (Oklahoma City Thunder) at 15.8%, J.B. Bickerstaff (Detroit Pistons) 11% and Erik Spoelstra (Miami Heat) at 8.9%.
Ott also received 1% of the votes for most overrated as 100 votes were calculated.
Washington Wizards coach Brian Keefe was voted the most overrated at 22%.
Suns guard Jordan Goodwin received 0.7% of the votes for best defensive player as Wembanyama garnished a poll-best 41.1% of the votes.
This poll had 151 total votes.

Wembanyama was the unanimous winner of this season’s NBA Defensive Player of the Year award.
