BREAK IT DOWN:

(Stats taken from DraftKings Sportsbook’s Stats Hub)

Victor Wembanyama 1st Points Scorer (+337): Wemby and the Spurs took Game 2 in convincing fashion to even their series with the Timberwolves and even though he didn’t get the first shot of the game or even the first shot for his team, Wembanyama did get the first bucket of the game with a put-back dunk at 10:34 in the first quarter. He also had the first points in Game 1 with a two-point shot at 10:38 after both teams had missed multiple shots. This is still a longshot play since it’s such a quick hitter that includes so many variables, but since he’s 2-for-2 so far in this series and has scored the first basket in 61 of his 71 games (22.5%) this season and postseason, the public is backing Wemby to get the first bucket on Friday in Game 3 as well.

Paul George 3+ Three Pointers Made (-133): George has knocked down at least three three-pointers in each of his last seven games. He had four 3PM (three-pointers made) in Game 1 and five 3PM in Game 2 as the Sixers tried to keep up with the Knicks. He also had at least three 3PM in each of his last five games against the Celtics in the first round. George could have a different matchup on Friday, depending on the availability of OG Anunoby (hamstring, questionable), but the public thinks he’ll keep carrying the load and deliver another strong performance from outside as the Sixers try to climb back into their series with the Knicks. George will likely get more work if Joel Embiid (ankle/hip, questionable) misses a second straight game, but he has proven he can deliver the over on this prop whether Embiid is in the lineup or not.

Anthony Edwards 30+ Points (+292): Anthony Edwards returned earlier than expected from a left knee bone bruise and played in each of the first two games of this series. He had 18 points in Game 1 and 12 points in Game 2, but he’s a popular play to go off in Game 3. He played limited minutes off the bench in each of those two contests, but he could be ready for a more typical workload after another few days to recover. Before the injury, he did hit for 30 points one time in the first round in Game 2 against Denver, and the public likes the long odds at nearly 3:1 that he’ll go off in his first home game in this series. If he’s close to 100%, Edwards definitely has the ability to hit 30 points, so it makes sense as a long-shot play to consider.

3-Pick Parlay

Taking three of the most-bet player props individually is always an option, but why not roll them into a parlay and get in on all the action at once? It’s a fun way to tie everything together — feel free to tag along.
