It has not been a great several years for the Bucks after not making it out of the first round in three seasons. The past two years, they’ve been eliminated by the Indiana Pacers, and now they’ll need to do some soul searching on what they want the future of their franchise to look like.
With Damian Lillard set to possibly miss most of next season as he recovers from a torn Achilles and not having much roster flexibility, there’s a chance that Giannis Antetokounmpo could request a trade.

There will be many teams looking to acquire Antetokounmpo if he becomes available, but there are a few teams that just make sense for him. Despite some teams being in line as the favorites to acquire him, DraftKings believes that the Bucks still have the best chance of having him on their team next season.
As of now, that’s not surprising because neither Antetokounmpo nor the Bucks have come out and said anything about a potential trade. At the same time, Antetokounmpo seems like a loyal person, and if the Bucks can convince him just enough that they can still contend despite some things working against them, he might stay.

Teams will also have to give up a lot to acquire Antetokounmpo, and if the asking price is too much or the Bucks don’t seem like they’re getting enough, nothing could happen.
