I think one reason why all of this Jaylen Brown trade conversation has, you know, really kind of caught fire is because of what Jaylen Brown said on his live stream.

Mm-hmm.

He’s saying, “Hey, this is the most fun I’ve ever had playing basketball.”

We hear Tracy McGrady, his mentor, come out and say that he’s frustrated with the Boston Celtics.

What did you make of all of these, you know, off the court things that Jaylen Brown has said recently?

Yeah, so we’ll go over the, the McGrady thing first.

I think McGrady is kind of walking back those comments and, I don’t know how he could be frustrated with the organization.

The organization’s did a lot for him.

You think about the amount of players that are surrounding him this year.

The thing that I was incredibly frustrated with is the idea that it was the most fun I’ve ever had during a season.

I’ll give you that.

Like, for me, covering the team, I loved this team during the regular season.

Like, I loved how hard they played, the depth of their roster.

I- and we can go on to, like, Jaylen Brown proving to the world that he could be a franchise guy.

All the guys proving to the world that they can go from non-rotational players on a championship level team into rotational players that make a difference.

They did a lot without Jayson Tatum.

Then you add Jayson Tatum back, it was like, you know, adding whipped cream to the top of your ice cream.

Like, it just got better and better until the playoffs happened, and they looked disruptive at that time.

And the players that Joe Mazzulla went to during the regular season weren’t able to deliver in the playoffs, or he just didn’t play them, whatever the reasoning is.

And we looked like another We almost looked like, at the time, the exact same team that everyone thought that we were gonna be.

So d- really disappointed with the way that that all played out.

And Jaylen Brown has already won finals MVP.

He won Eastern Conference finals MVP.

I’m, I’m a little curious on how that could be his favorite season over, you know, going to war and winning a championship.

It felt, it, it felt like either it was misread, missaid, because it didn’t seem like losing in a three-one lead in the first round could be your favorite season when you’re playing for the Boston Celtics, and the only thing that matters is championships.
