Could LeBron James sign with the Boston Celtics this offseason?
Could LeBron James sign with the Boston Celtics this offseason? And if he did, how would fans of the Celtics feel about such a proposition? For nearly all of his Hall of Fame career in the NBA, James has been a nemesis of Boston, going all the way back to the Ubuntu-era iterations of the team fronted by Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen.
He was the biggest barrier to Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown getting to the NBA Finals from the East in his time with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Miami Heat, and helped the Los Angeles Lakers stay within range of the Celtics in total titles won (depending on your opinion on their Minnesota titles). Would adding LeBron help Boston? Will fans accept him if he did?
