A pair of teams have been reported as hosting Michigan State basketball star point guard Jeremy Fears Jr. for a private workout.
Fears has reportedly worked out with both the Washington Wizards and Milwaukee Bucks. This news comes out just a few days after Big Ten Network analyst Raphael Davis reported that Fears has been “excelling” during private workouts with NBA teams.
Fears had a breakout season in 2025-26, averaging 15.2 points and 9.4 assists per game. He earned multiple All-American honors and will surely be considered in the mix for preseason Big Ten Player of the Year next season (should he return to college).

Fears has been a player that has raised his stock during the NBA Draft process but the question still remains if it’s enough for him to leave Michigan State early. He recently said he was looking to only leave early if he can be selected in the first round, and it’s unclear at the moment whether he’s reached that point based on differing opinions.
Fears will have to make up his mind on his future by this time next week. His decision will ultimately impact whether or not Michigan State is a national championship contender or a middle-tier Big Ten team next season.
