Charles Barkley doesn’t mind the immense aggressiveness that the Oklahoma City Thunder are demonstrating against Victor Wembanyama in the Western Conference Finals.

If anything, the NBA legend is even bothered by how fans react to the defending champs’ physical play over the French superstar.
“You people at home and TV talkin’ about they were physical with Wemby, man y’all need to stop it,” Barkley said on Inside the NBA. “I’ve been kissed harder … There was no excessive fouls.
“For you people thinking that’s physicality, y’all need to shut the hell up.”
Many have raised their eyebrows at how Wembanyama encountered a stifling Oklahoma City defense in Game 2, especially from Isaiah Hartenstein.
After Wembanyama delivered a historic 41-point, 24-rebound masterpiece in the Spurs’ Game 1 double-overtime thriller, the Thunder were able to at least slow down the San Antonio big man to just 21 points last Wednesday.
It remains to be seen if the NBA and the officials will take a closer look and further assess the OKC’s rugged approach against Wembanyama for the remainder of the series.
