(KBTX) – For the first time in 30 years, the Texas A&M men’s basketball team will face TCU in a home-and-home series, according to a program release.
The series will begin with a trip to Fort Worth on Nov. 19, 2026, followed by a game in College Station against the Horned Frogs in the 2027-28 season.
TCU has made the NCAA Tournament in four of the last five seasons, including three second-round exits.
The two former conference mates last met in College Station in February 1996 in a 91-89 Horned Frog victory. A month earlier, the two teams squared off on TCU’s campus in an 80-76 TCU win.
Since then, the two programs have faced each other in neutral-site contests at Fort Worth’s Dickies Arena and Houston’s Toyota Center in 2020 and 2021.
