The All-NBA teams for the 2025-26 season were officially announced ahead of Game 4 of the Western Conference finals between the Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs, and a Sixers player was included.

Tyrese Maxey named Third-Team All-NBA for 2025-26 season

Fifth-year guard Tyrese Maxey was officially named to the All-NBA Third-Team, marking the first All-NBA nod of his career, but probably not the last.

Maxey became the fourth player in Sixers franchise history to earn a Third-Team nod and the first Sixers player to secure any All-NBA recognition since Joel Embiid earned a First-Team nod for the 2022-23 season.

In 70 appearances during the regular season for Philadelphia, Maxey produced career highs in points (28.3), assists (6.6), rebounds (4.1), and steals (1.9). He was one of three players in the league – and the only player in the Eastern Conference – to average at least 28.0 points and 6.0 assists. He finished fifth in the NBA in points per game.

Maxey was joined on the All-NBA Third-Team by Jalen Duren of the Detroit Pistons, Chet Holmgren of the Oklahoma City Thunder, Jalen Johnson of the Atlanta Hawks and Jamal Murray of the Denver Nuggets.
