As the 2026 NBA draft continues to approach, with the first round of the draft is scheduled for June 23, the goal is to find a new young talent. The Philadelphia 76ers are led by new President of Basketball Operations Mike Gansey in an effort to continue adding to this roster.
The Sixers hold the No. 22 pick thanks to the Jared McCain trade at the deadline and Gansey and Co. will look to comb through the many options and make the right selection. There is no doubt that due diligence has been done in order to make the right pick at this point in the process.

A mock draft performed by Bleacher Report has the Sixers selecting Texas wing Dailyn Swain with the No. 22 pick:
The Sixers could search for center insurance here—it’ll be a perpetual need for as long as Joel Embiid is manning the middle—but their wing rotation could probably use more bodies, too.
Both Kelly Oubre Jr. and Quentin Grimes have free agency awaiting them, and even if Philly re-signs both, it might still want more protection behind them.
Swain’s shooting is one of the bigger swing skills in this draft range, but his defense and downhill attacking should be day-one strengths. He’s also an impressive passer for a scoring wing.
Swain averaged 17.3 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 3.6 assists while shooting 54.2% from the floor and 34.4% from deep in the 2025-26 season. He also averaged 1.6 steals as he showed off his toughness on that end of the floor. The Sixers could always use an athletic wing who can do it all on both ends of the floor.
