Everyone can see that Karl-Anthony Towns is outplaying Victor Wembanyama.
Few can say it as poignantly as Charles Barkley.
“Big KAT is taking his ass to the woodshed,” Barkley said during ABC’s halftime show during Game 2, with the Knicks leading the Spurs by four points.
Towns has 17 points, seven rebounds and three assists and has Wembanyama searching for answers on offense. Wemby (seven points) only has taken four shots and has two turnovers.
“Wemby’s in shock right now,” Barkley said. “It’s probably been a long time since he got his ass kicked like this.”
