Kevin Durant is likely to be on the move — or is he?

The Suns’ embattled forward was nearly traded at the trade deadline this past February and he is widely expected to be traded this offseason, but where he will go remains a mystery.

The oddsmakers at DraftKings Sportsbook are back placing next team odds on Durant’s landing spot, with the current expected destination being Durant remaining with the Suns in a surprising twist.

Durant has +230 odds to stay with the Suns, while the Timberwolves, who reportedly had significant interest in him at the trade deadline, are the second favorite at +300.

Meanwhile, the Rockets are +350 to land Durant after a tough first round of the playoffs that saw them get eliminated by the Golden State Warriors.

For those looking to the Knicks reigniting their Durant interest in a potential Karl-Anthony Towns swap, DraftKings has them posted as +1200 (7.69 percent implied) long shots to land the future Hall of Famer.

Interest in Durant will surely be robust considering his standing in the league as one of the best scorers of all time, although he is entering his age-37 season.

Durant averaged 26.6 points per game in 62 games last season but it didn’t contribute much to winning, as the Suns missed the playoffs in a devastatingly unsuccessful 36-46 season.

Betting on the NBA?

Durant almost landed with the Warriors this past season in exchange for a package reportedly centered around Jonathan Kuminga, Andrew Wiggins and draft capital.

Instead, he rebuffed the idea of again playing with Stephen Curry and the Warriors and stuck with Suns.

Phoenix is saddled with arguably the worst contract in the NBA, as Bradley Beal possesses a no-trade clause and still has two years left on his deal.
