If you’re a Dallas Mavericks fan, there’s likely one moment that comes to mind when it comes to P.J. Washington.
Washington posted a photo of his brand new tattoo on his social media on Sunday. It’s an elaborate design on what appears to be the back of his right leg, featuring Washington striking the pose, the Dallas skyline and “standing on business” in large letters.
“He came in and was telling me not to look at their bench,” Washington said of his pose. “I was like, ‘You’re not gonna tell me what to do.’ I decided to strike a pose in front of the bench, just look at ’em and get some good pictures in while doing it.”
Later in that same quarter, Washington came to Luka Doncic’s defense. Russell Westbrook grabbed Doncic’s left arm, spun him around, then shoved him when Doncic objected.
Headed into his third full season in Dallas, the 27-year-old forward now has his time with the Mavericks and that moment permanently commemorated. Washington’s massive tattoo was more than just his leg, as he also got a full back tattoo with his last name, a photo of his wife and a bible verse. See the full back tattoo below.
