The San Antonio Spurs are trying to even up the 2026 NBA Finals against the New York Knicks. The Spurs jumped out to a 27-point halftime lead on Wednesday, shocking the Madison Square Garden crowd. San Antonio hit 14 3-pointers in the first 24 minutes, the most 3s any team has ever made in a Finals half. The Spurs’ 27-point halftime lead was the third-largest in Finals history. The Knicks, however, cut their deficit to 15 points by the start of the fourth quarter.

The road team has won every Finals game so far, and that trend will continue unless the Knicks can complete the biggest comeback of all-time in the Finals. The Knicks, looking for their first title since 1973, entered Game 4 with a 2-1 series lead.
