Without Tyrese Haliburton, the Indiana Pacers were one of the worst teams in the NBA this season. The team was depleted but still made a buying move at the deadline, adding Ivica Zubac. Now, this offseason, it is unknown whether the franchise will sell some pieces or continue to buy now that Haliburton is expected to be back in the mix next season. If they sell, Sheppard is a solid option to come to Miami. The 24-year-old has only been improving with his shooting splits and would not cost much to acquire. He is under contract through next season on a $5 million club option, meaning the Pacers could part ways sooner rather than later to open up cap space.
