Rounding out player grades for the Charlotte Hornets during the 2025-26 season is former Alabama forward Brandon Miller. After making just 27 appearances during his sophomore campaign, Miller had a much more durable season, as did his teammate LaMelo Ball. Miller made 65 appearances, averaging over 20 points per game for the second consecutive year.

Overall, Miller averaged 20.2 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.3 assists, one steal and 0.7 blocks. Miller’s field goal percentage improved to 43.5 percent and he also shot a career-best 38.3 percent from beyond the arc. Once again, Miller was one of the better perimeter defenders on a Hornets team known for their “offense-first” mindset. Looking ahead, Hornets fans have high hopes for the 23-year-old along with Ball and Kon Knueppel. Unfortunately for Miller, shoulder surgery may hinder his ability to make notable improvements for a second straight offseason after a wrist injury ended his second year. Miller is entering the final year of his rookie contract this fall and will be eligible for an extension this summer.
