The Charlotte Hornets have been engaged in trade talks recently with the Sacramento Kings, involving three-time NBA All-Star center Domantas Sabonis. However, considering a deal has yet to be made for the center, the two teams have shifted to discussions involving draft picks.
According to Hoops HQ, Charlotte and Sacramento are discussing a deal that would send the No. 7 overall pick to the Hornets in exchange for both the No. 14 and No. 18 overall selections. This would allow the Hornets to get a highly touted prospect while giving the Kings two opportunities to add young pieces. Looking for an impact guard, Sacramento is reportedly open to moving back because top guard prospects like Labaron Philon (Alabama), Christian Anderson (Texas Tech) and Ebuka Okorie (Stanford) are still expected to be available in the middle of the first round.
