Members of the NBA champion New York Knicks will be in attendance at Yankee Stadium for first pitch Wednesday night, the New York Yankees announced in a post on X.
The Yankees did not specify which players nor how many would attend the game against the Chicago White Sox. The photo the club posted included stars Jalen Brunson, who was named the Finals MVP, and Josh Hart.
Hart and Brunson have thrown out first pitches at the stadium before. The pair, who are close friends, have long been vocal Yankees fans.

Knicks players have been all over the city lately, celebrating the franchise’s first title in 53 years.
On Tuesday, starters Brunson, Hart, Karl-Anthony Towns, OG Anunoby and Mikal Bridges appeared on “Good Morning America. ” Later in the day, Anunoby, Bridges and Miles McBride attended the France-Senegal World Cup match at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
On Sunday, Jose Alvarado and Jordan Clarkson walked in the Puerto Rican Day parade.
Yankees star Aaron Judge, wearing a Knicks shirt, watched from a suite at Madison Square Garden last Wednesday as the Knicks made their epic 29-point comeback against the San Antonio Spurs to win Game 4 of the Finals.
The Knicks will also be celebrated during a parade in Manhattan down Broadway starting at 10 a.m. ET on Thursday.
