Ohio State added to their 2025 class today with the news that Myles Herro has committed to the program.
The 6’3” Wisconsin native is the younger brother of current Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro. The three-star prospect is ranked by 247Sports as the 40th best point guard in his class, with Herro choosing the Buckeyes over a handful of other mid-majors that previously offered him. Herro is set to join a class that includes four star forward A’mare Bynum.
As a senior Herro averaged 21.5 points, 5.9 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game. The guard also played at the AAU level for Team Herro, coached by his father.
“I’d describe my game as a pass first guard who can create my own shot when needed and score when the team needs it,” Herro said to 247Sports. “I definitely see myself as a two way player. Someone who can impact the game on both offense and defense. I take pride in being able to do both.”
Per 247Sports Herro will be receiving a partial scholarship to join the Buckeyes with some NIL money to cover the cost to attend Ohio State.
