Oakland transfer Brady Swartz has been selected to the 2026 USA 3×3 Men’s Nations League team and will represent the United States at the upcoming FIBA 3×3 Nations League Conference in Ñuñoa, Chile.
USA Basketball announced June 17 that Swartz was one of six NCAA men’s basketball players chosen for the team.
Swartz, an incoming sophomore guard at Oakland, arrives after spending his freshman season at Western Michigan. The 6-foot-7 guard scored 192 points during the 2025-26 season and posted a career-high 20 points against Ohio State.
The roster provides exposure for several successful mid-major programs. Three of the six players on the team currently compete at mid-major schools, including Oakland, Lehigh and Siena.
The United States is scheduled to compete against teams from Chile, Argentina, the Cayman Islands, Canada and Puerto Rico during the event. Game dates and tipoff times have not yet been announced.
FIBA 3×3 basketball is played on a half-court with three players per team and a 12-second shot clock. Games last 10 minutes, with the first team to reach 21 points declared the winner. If neither team reaches 21 points, the team leading at the end of regulation is awarded the victory.
Swartz joins the national team after a promising freshman campaign and will have an opportunity to gain international experience before beginning his first season at Oakland.
