The Oklahoma City Thunder are certainly not a team that needs help to win games. Still, any opportunity they can get to have a slightly easier matchup is surely one that is welcomed with open arms. That may be the case for their Thursday night matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies.
The Thunder will undoubtedly come into this game as the favorites at Paycom Center. Oklahoma City is currently riding a seven-game winning streak heading into the showdown. The Grizzlies will be down some key bodies too.

The glaring disadvantage for Memphis will come from the fact that Ja Morant is confirmed as out for the game with a hamstring injury.

Health issues have been a reoccurring problem for Morant all year. The Grizzlies star has only played 43 games to this point in the 2024-25 NBA season. This will mark the sixth game in a row that Morant will miss due to this most recent injury.
A couple of teammates will join Morant on the injury report for the Grizzlies. Marvin Bagley (concussion) and Zyon Pullin (knee) have both already been ruled out as well. Lamar Stevens (shoulder) has been listed as questionable. Brandon Clarke will also occupy his usual spot, being listed as out for the remainder of the season due to a high-grade PCL sprain in his right knee.

The Thunder will be thankful for the extraordinary amount of depth they have on their roster, because they too have a handful of names on the injury report before this matchup.

The good news would be the fact that Jalen Williams (hip) is listed as questionable for the game. Cason Wallace (knee) has the same distinction.
Ousmane Dieng (calf), Aaron Wiggins (Achilles), and Alex Ducas (quadriceps) are all confirmed be out for this game.
Tipoff for this matchup will be 8:00PM ET.
