Allan Hancock College men’s basketball center Noah Morris and women’s basketball forward Anastasia Drolette have signed their letters of intent to play at the the next level.
Morris will head to Monmouth, Oregon to play for the NCAA Division II Western Oregon while Drolette will head to Milwaukee to play for NCAA Division III Alverno College.
Last season Morris was named Western State Conference (North) Defensive Player of the Year and averaged a double-double with 12.2 points and 10.9 rebounds per game.
“I feel that playing at the JUCO level really tests your love for the game and it showed me that I really do love this sport and want to put my all into it,” Morris said. “The coaching staff here helped me realize how important great coaching is to a successful program.”
Morris will enter with two years of eligibility left as he looks to help the Wolves and second year head coach Ryan Orton improve on their 9-18 season last year.
“I chose Western Oregon because I felt that it would be the best fit for me in terms of development,” Morris said. “I really like the coaching staff and trust their vision for success.”
Drolette finished fourth on the Bulldogs with 6.4 points per game and was second on the team averaging 5.0 rebounds. She scored a career- high 15 points against Cuesta College back in January.
“Alverno’s education system is very unique, focusing on hands-on learning and experience instead of a traditional grading system,” Drolette said. “This aligns with my career and life goals.”
The Inferno, who are a member of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference, did not play a season last year but finished 2-23 during the 2024-2025 campaign.
