With the NBA Draft less than 24 hours away, the mock drafts are getting creative. CBS Sports’ latest mock draft is their chaos version. This mock draft includes trades and some bold picks, and it may not be too far off since there is a good chance that the Milwaukee Bucks could trade Giannis Antetokounmpo before the draft.

Washington has a big decision to make that will be franchise-altering. The two main options appear to be Kansas’ Darryn Peterson and BYU’s AJ Dybantsa. In this mock draft — that will be chaotic throughout with trades and bold predictions — Peterson, not Dybantsa, goes No. 1. That would presumably leave Dybantsa available for the Utah Jazz, a franchise very familiar with the BYU product.

It is safe to say that Dybantsa remaining in Utah would be something that Cougar fans would really enjoy as they can continue to see the hopeful future star do big things at the NBA level.

This chaos mock draft is still based in reality on some level, as CBS Sports writer Cameron Salerno leans toward Petersen over Dybantsa to go first overall.

As for Dybantsa going to the Jazz, it would be a full circle moment for Dybantsa and Jazz owner Ryan Smith. Smith invested a lot of NIL money into BYU basketball, and that included help bring Dybantsa to Provo.

The chaos potential is high for a draft that has a battle for the top spot, and if Antetokounmpo gets traded that could cause a big ripple in the NBA on draft night.
