UNDER THIS NEW DEAL, MCCOLLUM WILL BEGIN MAKING $4.3 MILLION IN BONUSES BY THE FINAL YEAR OF THE AGREEMENT. HE’LL BE MAKING $4.8 MILLION. THIS IS ABOUT $1 MILLION MORE PER YEAR THAN HIS PREVIOUS DEAL, WHICH ONLY HAD FIVE MORE YEARS ON IT. MCCOLLUM LED IOWA TO ITS FIRST ELITE EIGHT SHOWING SINCE 1987.
