Former Iowa basketball player Kenyon Murray has agreed to a merger between his basketball club, Murray Elite Basketball and Team Iowa. Kenyon Murray is a former McDonald’s All-American out of Michigan who starred for the Hawkeyes. His two sons, Keegan and Kris, both played at Iowa and are now playing in the NBA.”We believe we can create one of the most impactful youth basketball platforms in the Midwest,” Murray said. Murray Elite Basketball is based in Iowa City, and Team Iowa is in Hiawatha. Where the merged club will be located will be announced at a later time, as will more information about the club.This new club will compete with the All Iowa Attack youth basketball juggernaut in Waukee.
