NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – The New Orleans Pelicans aren’t done yet with big man DeAndre Jordan.
NBA insider Shams Charania of ESPN reported Tuesday night (June 30) that the Pelicans have agreed on a deal to bring the 37-year-old center back for what will be his 19th NBA season.
Fox 8 confirmed through a source that Jordan will return under a one-year deal, but terms were not announced.

Jordan, a second-round pick of the Los Angeles Clippers in 2008, joined the Pelicans last October, signing a one-year deal worth a reported $3.6 million. He wound up playing just 12 games for New Orleans, the eighth team of his career.
Jordan did not play for the Pels after a March 27 game at Toronto. He averaged 4.4 points and 6.3 rebounds across his dozen games with the team.
In April, Jordan was the NBA’s winner of the Twyman-Stokes Teammate of the Year award.
