The NBA draft is set for three weeks from Wednesday night, where Mainer Cooper Flagg is projected to be the top overall pick, which is currently held by the Dallas Mavericks.
Cooper’s hometown of Newport is getting ready for the big event.
Hamlin Marina will be holding a huge draft night watch party beginning at 4:00.
There will be food trucks, activities for the kids, and the UMaine cheerleaders will be there as well, doing face painting for the kids!
Plus, a monster TV screen for fans to see the draft up close and personal!
The owners at the marina say it will be a special night for fans to come and celebrate!
