As free agency continues this summer, speculation around LeBron James’ next landing spot has dominated headlines. Luckily for the Golden State Warriors, they were listed among six finalists to sign James, in addition to the Cavaliers, Heat, Timberwolves, Nuggets and 76ers.

Recently, one of James’ former teammates weighed in on where he thinks the 23-year veteran will sign. Mario Chalmers played four seasons with James as teammates on the Miami Heat, winning two championships together. In a recent interview, Chalmers spoke about how many years he believes James has left and where he’ll sign this summer, saying, “I give him two to three more years, and I want to say Miami, but I have a gut feeling that it might be Golden State.”

While three more years may be a stretch for James, who is entering his age-42 season, Warriors fans will be hopeful that his prediction rings true.
