The Pacers dropped their Summer League game against the Raptors, falling 94-93 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. Former Nebraska star Rienk Mast led Indiana (1-2) with 23 points on 8-for-14 shooting, 10 rebounds and a block, but had his would-be game-winning shot rejected with two seconds left.
Jalen Slawson added 21 points and eight rebounds for the Pacers, who shot just 39% from the field and 26% from 3-point range. Former Purdue point guard Braden Smith started and had nine assists against two turnovers to go with three rebounds and two steals, but went 0 for 7 from the field and did not score in 27 minutes.
Fort Wayne native Keion Brooks Jr. played 12 minutes off the bench and had a block and an assist despite an 0-for-3 performance from the floor.
The Pacers play again Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. against Minnesota on Amazon Prime Video.
