Alabama men’s basketball will face SEC opponent Ole Miss while the women’s team takes on UAH in the annual Ballin in Boutwell preseason exhibition games.

Nate Oats’ Crimson Tide squad will get a taste of SEC competition before the regular season even begins with its matchup versus the Rebels. Alabama is 6-2 against Ole Miss during Oats’ tenure at UA and 2-0 in its previous two Ballin in Boutwell matchups, with wins over Wake Forest and Florida State in 2024 and 2025 respectively.

On the women’s side, Alabama will face Division II opponent UAH for the first time in 40 years during the preseason matchup. The Tide is led by first year head coach Pauline Love, who will look to lay the groundwork for a successful first season with a preseason victory at Ballin in Boutwell.

Both teams will play in their respective matchups on Thursday, Oct. 15. The women will face UAH at 12 p.m. CT and the men will tip-off against Ole Miss at 7 p.m. CT.
