Los Angeles has been one of the most dominant teams in the Las Vegas leg of Summer League and will look to continue its undefeated streak against Chicago on Thursday. The Lakers made it three wins from three in Sin City on Tuesday after dispatching the Clippers 99-85 at the Thomas & Mack Center.
And they’ll report to the scene of the crime once more this week, facing a Chicago outfit that has only managed to win one of its three outings in Vegas thus far. The Bulls went 0-2 prior to a 99-87 victory over Washington on Thursday, where Jaylin Sellers showed the world what he’s capable of with a 24-point contribution.
Undrafted Sellers perhaps needed that game to balance things out after the two-way prospect failed to shine as hoped during an earlier defeat to Memphis. However, he’s now forming part of a very promising Summer League trio alongside No. 4 Draft pick Caleb Wilson and three-point assassin Donovan Atwell.
The Lakers, meanwhile, are getting a lot out of new arrival Cameron Carr, who once more finished with the most points on the court in the recent win over the Clippers. Arthur Kaluma and second-year pro Adou Thiero have also proved critical to the team’s success this summer as they aim to withstand whatever the Bulls have to throw at them.
