During a recent interaction, a fan asked Green who would run Golden State’s offense if James arrived.

“If y’all got Bron, who would run the offense? Steph, you, or Bron?” the fan asked.

“Bron,” Green responded. “I’d become PJ Tucker. Greatest corner three-point shooter ever.”

Green delivered the answer jokingly, but his comment highlighted one of the biggest tactical questions surrounding a potential James move to Golden State.

Warriors continue to be linked with James

Golden State remains among the teams linked with James as the 41-year-old approaches his highly anticipated free-agency decision.

The Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat, Philadelphia 76ers, Warriors, and Minnesota Timberwolves have all been mentioned as possible destinations.

Golden State’s chances have been strengthened by James’ relationships with Curry and Green, who have both communicated directly with the four-time NBA champion.

The Warriors would offer James an opportunity to team up with Curry after the two stars spent years competing against each other in the NBA Finals.

Should James choose Golden State, Green may not become the next Tucker in every sense, but he already appears prepared to spend more time in the corner.
