The Boston Celtics could be in for a big Hugo Gonzalez leap. Or at least that is the point of view of the hosts of the “How Bout Them Celtics!” podcast, Jack Simone and Sam LaFrance, who took some time on a recent episode of their show to do a deep dive into the play of the Madrid, Spain native and his play for the Sin City Celtics at the NBA’s 2026 Las Vegas Summer League.
Taking on a much higher sage rate with an on-ball role he has yet to deploy at the NBA level, Gonzalez put up some serious numbers (if a bit inefficiently) with the Summer Celtics in the great state of Nevada at the league’s annual summer exhibition series.
