New Magic coach Sean Sweeney will make his preseason debut on the road inside FedExForum on Oct. 7 when Orlando travels to take on the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Magic shared Monday morning they finalized their preseason schedule for 2026, which includes two road games in addition to the two previously announced home games.

Orlando will also travel to Cleveland to face the Cavaliers on Oct. 11, the team said. Two days later, the Magic will host the Cavs inside Kia Center before wrapping up their preseason slate at home on Oct. 16 against the Miami Heat.

The latter three preseason games will tip-off at 7 p.m., the Magic said. Orlando’s preseason opener at Memphis will start at 8 p.m., according to the team.

Orlando’s preseason game at Memphis will mark the first time Magic star Desmond Bane returns to FedExForum since last summer’s blockbuster trade between the two teams. The Magic and Grizzlies played twice in the 2025-26 regular season but both matchups took place overseas in Europe (Berlin and London).

Bane spent the first five years of his pro career with the Grizzlies before the Magic acquired him last year in exchange for Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Cole Anthony (no longer with Memphis) and four future first-round picks.

Following the closure of FanDuel Sports Network Florida, the Magic will announce their broadcast plans for the 2026-27 season in the near future, the team said.

Orlando’s regular-season schedule is typically released in mid-August with the rest of the league. After wrapping up Las Vegas Summer League over the weekend, the Magic will open training camp inside the AdventHealth Training Center on Sept. 29.
