Former San Antonio resident and New York Knicks guard Jordan Clarkson was reportedly escorted from an exclusive Manhattan nightclub after an alleged confrontation involving “SICKO MODE” rapper Travis Scott.
According to a Sunday TMZ report, Clarkson and Scott were attending an invite-only Raising Cane’s event hosted Saturday night at the club Zero Bond by the chicken chain’s founder, Todd Graves, when the confrontation occurred.
Scott, a Houston native who was at the New York City nightclub with his entourage, reportedly became upset after noticing someone filming him while he was talking with another attendee, according to TMZ.
Scott’s entourage allegedly began throwing bottles at the person filming him, sparking a chaotic scene inside the club. According to TMZ, Clarkson stepped in to help de-escalate the confrontation rather than escalate it.
Despite Clarkson’s involvement, both he and Scott were escorted from the venue. No injuries were reported.
Clarkson moved to San Antonio when he was about 6 years old and attended Karen Wagner High School, where he played for the Thunderbirds. There, he averaged 19.7 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game as a senior while earning all-district honors.
Additionally, in 2009-10, he helped lead his high school team to back-to-back Class 5A — now 6A — state semifinal appearances. During both seasons, Clarkson was named to the Express-News Super team. As a senior, he was also named the Express-News Boys Basketball Player of the Year.
Clarkson signed with the New York Knicks as a free agent in July 2025 after agreeing to a contract buyout with the Utah Jazz. He later helped lead the Knicks to the 2026 NBA championship over the San Antonio Spurs.
TMZ reported that it contacted representatives for Scott, Clarkson, Zero Bond and the New York Police Department but had not received a response from any of them as of publication.
