Royce O’Neale will be walking into next season as a married man.

The Charlotte Hornets star married “Power” actress Paige Hurd at the Oheka Castle in New York. The actress described the aura of the wedding as a “fairy tale” that had a “chateau full of candlelight and every person we love, dancing until the lights came up,” noting that it “still felt like us.”

The wedding had celebrities and athletes like Cleveland Cavaliers’ Donovan Mitchell, Grammy-winning singer Coco Jones, and New York Knicks’ Jordan Clarkson, actors Jonathan Majors, and Meagan Good.

Hurd, who is the goddaughter of rap icon DMX, paid tribute to the late hip-hop legend during the wedding. She walked down to a string arrangement of DMX’s “X Gon’ Give It to Ya” and the traditional “Wedding March,” which was performed by a live string ensemble and gospel choir, according to the outlet.

For their first dance, the couple swayed to “I Believe in You and Me” by Whitney Houston.

During the reception, O’Neale performed his own DJ set, which guests said was a highlight of the night, People says.

Royce O’Neale and Paige Hurd’s relationship

O’Neale and Hurd went public with their relationship back in 2024 and last year the couple got engaged. The then-Phoenix Suns star proposed at the Viceroy Riviera Maya in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico to celebrate Valentine’s Day weekend.

“During the proposal I was in such shock, it took me about a full minute to stand to my feet,” Hurd told People at the time.

When it comes to what’s next for the couple, they are looking forward to “building our life and our family together, and getting to call each other husband and wife every ordinary day.”

“It means choosing each other for life — a partner, a teammate, a home,” O’Neale said.

The Hornets star gushed about Hurd, “She makes everything feel like home.”

Not only will O’Neale be rocking new hardware for the upcoming NBA season, but he will also be wearing a new jersey. He was traded alongside Grayson Allen and a 2033 first-round draft pick last month.
