Three former Oregon Ducks men’s basketball players took the court in Las Vegas over the past days for 2026 NBA Summer League, and it was a mixed bag of results.

Nate Bittle was the Ducks’ headliner in Vegas, as he was a third-team All-Big Ten selection two seasons ago and signed an Exhibit-10 deal with the Toronto Raptors shortly after going undrafted in the 2026 draft. In four games played, Bittle averaged 9.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 2.8 blocks per game. He also showcased his three-point shooting ability, knocking down 43.8% of his deep shots on 16 attempts.

The former Oregon center did have one down moment, however, as his turnover late in the Raptors’ first contest ended up costing the game against the Boston Celtics. He rebounded from that mishap, contributing nine points and six boards just a few days later in a one-point Raptors victory.

Fellow former Duck Brandon Angel was also on the Toronto squad as a bench player, producing averages of 2.7 points and 3.0 rebounds in three appearances. He was on the court sparingly, coming out of Las Vegas having logged just 34 minutes of play. Angel competed in the Israel Winner League last season, scoring 16.9 points and 7.9 rebounds per game and could be headed for another season of overseas basketball.

TJ Bamba was in the same boat as Angel, as he saw just 26 minutes of action during summer league with the Denver Nuggets. He scored seven total points and grabbed three total rebounds, but wasn’t on the court enough to make a true impact or showcase himself as a player.

He, too, could be headed for another basketball season abroad, as he played in the easyCredit BBL League in Germany last year, posting averages of 12.3 points and 3.5 rebounds per game. He played for the Brooklyn Nets‘ summer league team in 2025, but saw little time on the court as well.

While the 10-day summer league event wasn’t favorable to Angel or Bamba, there’s a good chance that we could see Bittle in the G League next season with the Raptors 905, Toronto’s G League affiliate, after four games of solid play.
