Russell Westbrook recently finished his first season with the Denver Nuggets.

Westbrook had a successful season in Denver, playing alongside MVP runner-up Nikola Jokic and other stars, including Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr.

The Nuggets are Westbrook’s sixth NBA stop. He previously played for the Washington Wizards, Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers, Houston Rockets and Oklahoma City Thunder.

During his first season in Denver, Westbrook posted 13.3 points, 4.9 rebounds and 6.1 assists per game.

After the Nuggets were eliminated from the postseason by the Oklahoma City Thunder, Westbrook had a decision to make. He has a player option for the 2025-26 season.

While he has yet to fully confirm if he is considering retirement, having already played 17 years in the league, Westbrook recently posted a message that all but points to another season in the NBA.

Westbrook posted a photo of himself in a Denver Nuggets uniform while sharing a message to over 22.9 million followers.

“I am a Force of Nature,” Westbrook said. “Seventeen in the 📕. Thankful and Grateful for the continued journey. Eighteen on the way. -The Brodie.”

The underlying message here stands with “eighteenth on the way,” from Westbrook.
