Draymond Green was involved in a hilarious accident just hours after he signed his new contract with the Golden State Warriors.
Green declined his $27.7 million player option earlier in the offseason to create enough cap space to sign LeBron James.
However, following James’ move to the Philadelphia 76ers, Green finally entered negotiations with the Warriors.
He agreed to the same $27.7m deal that was previously on the table, keeping him in Golden State for another year.
On the same day as his extension, Green attended a slam dunk competition at the Overtime Elite Arena in Atlanta.

Draymond Green attended Shaquille O’Neal’s Dunkman competition in Atlanta after signing his contract extension.
Dunkman is the world’s first professional sports league exclusively for slam dunking, broadcast on TNT Sports.
Green agreed to stand under the basket for one of the dunks, expecting the contestant to jump completely over him.

However, the dunker landed on top of Green’s head in a hilarious clip that has since been posted on social media.
TNT Sports captioned the video “Draymond got taken OUT on this dunk” with a crying emoji to highlight the mistake.
While Green did not appear in any pain after the failed dunk, he might think twice next time he is asked to be jumped over.
